I really enjoyed the characters, Jay and Stella but I have to add that I didn't particularly like the sub-plot. This book is written in 2 POV (points of view) which I know many people like but I am not a particular fan of this style of writing. For me it slows down the flow.

The sub-plot was about Jay's father and his cronies and all their illegal activities such as insider trading and fraud that could destroy Jay's company as well as lead to his arrest.

I was always awaiting the Jay and Stella parts. Although, I did enjoy the parts with Elizabeth, Jay's soon to be ex-wife because she was such a horrible character but in an entertaining way.

Jay and Stella begin as a 3 month physical affair but their passion for one another leads to so much more especially when they are lead to the truth about Stella's daughter, Nina.

Jay and Stella have some very entertaining rousing fights that made me laugh out loud but they also share a lot of passion in the bedroom and they both find each other to be the most exciting lover that they have ever had.

Both of these characters come to blows over control because Stella doesn't want to relinquish it and Jay likes to take over and make everything right.

Stella has a lot of trust issues stemming from her past and in order for this relationship to work she is going to have to let her guard down so that she can trust Jay.

And if she can allow herself to let Jay into her life than she can have a life bigger than she ever dreamed possible.

Looking forward to reading more books by this author. If you haven't read, "Having Nathan's Baby" by this same author then I highly suggest it. It is written in the first person (Chloe) and is about a long term uncommitted relationship that can become so much more or less due to an unplanned pregnancy between Nathan and Chloe. It was a very real and endearing story.
