Everywhere you look, you need a key to get in your home, business, car, boat, safe, gate, mower, etc., to utilize what is rightfully yours. The book gave me MANY keys to receive the prosperity we all hunger for from cradle to grave.
It is a very easy read, like a conversation.
I found several times after a chapter I would think "now THAT makes sense!"
This one book could have saved me semesters of time in college.
Seriously a great read. I have a degree in economics and regularly read personal finance blogs and books, but I learned a wealth of new information from this book (see what I did there?). The author brings new light to the topic of personal finance, especially from a Biblical perspective. If you want to know more about how to prosper according to God's Word, this is the book for you.
-Love the author's personality in his writing throughout. It made it fun to read.
-It's an easy read and I devoured the book in two days. The content is well-laid out into chapters.
-Several extremely common misconceptions about money and finances are cleared up from a Biblical viewpoint. I had several times while reading where I finally realized, "Oh yes, I have been thinking about that wrongly my entire life..." and then he offered a better way of thinking.
-Even if you've read Dave Ramsey, etc, you have got to give this book a look!!!
After I finished the book I felt a new sense of purpose and direction, and my husband and I sat down and made huge progress discussing major life goals, financial and in other categories. I will definitely be reading it again and again!!!

Good job, Roger! Simple, easy to understand, but loaded with information that's vital in understanding God's perspective of money. And, I really like the chapter for folks over 60! I would highly recommend this book for anyone who uses money.☺
This is definitely a new perspective on ancient principles. Roger Braker has definitely hit the nail on the head in this book. He documents vital keys to increasing and maintaining wealth and prosperity. Not a run of the mill read, either! The dialogue is like sitting in the living room with the author and discussing the topic with him personally. Poverty vs. Wealth could be the story of just about everyone who has endeavored to use the keys to the treasure chest of knowledge in the Bible on this subject, but has hit a few brick walls in the process. The information is straight-forward and definitely worth "trying out." As I read this book, I caught myself thinking of perhaps having it on-hand as a work book of sorts. In short Poverty vs. Wealth is Enlightening, Helpful and Valuable!
Great approach to the subject of wealth building. I enjoyed the read. One gem I gleaned from Roger's book was the difference between savings accounts and funding accounts. Really, an insightful mind set shift rather than an actual difference. Thanks
