I can't believe it is over. I'm super sad because I just loved all the characters but it was so nicely done. It finished off perfectly and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I'm just so deeply in love with this series. I'm feeling a bit of a book hangover over now. I'm not sure where to go from here because it will be hard to match such a dynamic series. I'm just so happy and sad. I found myself getting teary eyed at the end because it was just so perfect.My favorite character in this book is Kingsley. I can't help it but I just love a snarky and sassy Brit. I wish there could more of him because even though his time was short there is so much you could do with his history and future. I'm more interested to see what he is up to than anyone else.
My favorite moment was the ending. I'm not going to say anything but it was such a touching moment. It was 20 years later and such a special moment. Aww I can't stop crying. I just can't do it.
I will recommend this series to everyone who will listen. I'm going to shove it in the hands of co-workers to reading friends to family members.

I wish this isn't the final book yet. But I am very pleased that the conclusion to the story is very satisfying, albeit I wish there would be more. I got attached to some characters from the very beginning and to some that appeared only in this last book. I am curious to see how the future holds and what their lives would have been and I can't help imagining different scenarios of what it would have been like to start over after all they've been through in the story. The setting of this trilogy has been very fascinating to me and I loved how the author's writing and storytelling has been so amazingly good that I easily transport myself into the story while reading it. I'm not gonna mention any specific details to avoid spoilers, but this last book have a lot of focus on Mason and Vega which made me love these two characters.
With thousands on board airships and the great General Quelch at the helm, I don't understand why it took 350 years to fix something that was fixed in a matter of hours. The technology of the time they boarded was well advanced, this is why I say deflated. A fairytale ending, yes I am afraid so, not a lot of drama, but a nice ending. At 206 pages it deserved more. I do want to add it is well written and thoughtful.
Sorry, but after waiting for this final book in the series I was so disappointed. A character who's role was pivotal, should have been developed much more. The entire storytelling process as done in such a hurry that it felt immature at best.
The bare bones of the plot are weak, and the storyline rushed and full of holes.
I have ALL of Stephanies books. Fantastic ending to a great series. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next
AWESOME
The storyline stays with you even when you are going through your normal everyday work or daily routine. I felt I could zone into the post apocalyptic world and be existing there with the characters simultaneously. Am so disappointed my adventures with them are over!
I have loved everything this author has written, but I think this trilogy is my absolute favorite! The characters draw you in and keep their hold...and the whole concept is eerily both exciting and frightening.
A cautionary tale, to be sure!
Ms. Erickson is an amazing author...and even that statement doesn't touch the way her books have affected me!
